Usually there is not a huge turnout for a girls basketball game, especially on a weeknight. You have parents, grandparents, other relatives, siblings, friends and a few basketball faithful. But the stands are never packed. There is no pep band. You can always find a place to sit.
Last night, however, was different. The Lady Falcons put it on the Lady Lions from Washington Court House and they even had a student section! Several of the students, many of them boys basketball players, suited up to support the girls. It was a great showing of support for the girls’ team!
This was one of my favorite moments – the student section “Tebowing” during player introductions.
